In the busy-ness of today’s last-minute prep and food shopping, I wanted to take a moment to let you know I appreciate you being here, and being an entrepreneur who is not afraid to put themselves out there with a website, no matter how scary it can be. You’re doing it, despite the odds, despite the fears, and because you love what you do. Thank you for that.
Many of us in the United States are taking a time-out in the next couple of weeks for a holiday, and to connect with family and friends. But when you work for yourself, and set your own schedule, why not use the slowing down of most of the world as found time to focus on your business? Who says you have to sit around and gorge yourself on leftovers for days in a food coma?
Have you been wanting to get more authentic in your marketing, your branding, and dig back into your blog writing, uninterrupted by the hustle and bustle of the outside world? Why not avoid the malls, the consumerism, and the mania of it all, by declaring a retreat day for you to get reconnected with your business? What are you exploring? (Feel free to message me if you have questions or ideas, or just want to have a virtual coffee date to geek out on being an entrepreneur — it can get lonely out here, can’t it?)
Take a Monday off for no reason if you want to. This is your life. You get to design it and your business however you want. Stop comparing, and start creating.
